Born in 1955, he has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Lima, Peru, top of his class. M.B.A. Degree in Business Administration with specialty in Finance and Marketing, with Distinction, Babson College, B.Sc., Boston. College of Insurance, New York, Risk Management and Insurance Expert, top of his class. Seminars throughout the world.

Mr. Mihai Olarescu, founder of OLSA RE, is an entrepreneur with specialty in the Insurance and Reinsurance Business. Investor in many fields of the business environment, has a solid work experience in the national and international reinsurance markets.

He has created and developed several reinsurance brokerage firms in different countries and is currently involved in the development of a solid international reinsurance network.

He has more than 25 years of insurance and reinsurance experience with wide international experience in business management and the implementation of administrative and technical procedures related to Risk and General Management, Insurance and Reinsurance.

Post graduate studies at University of Columbia, U.S.A.(1980), Diploma in Risk and Insurance and Certificate in Management Programs and Supervision of Management Programs, College of Insurance of New York, U.S.A. (1981). training at Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. of Fort Wayne Indiana, U.S.A., Greg Fester Group Ltd. and Mercantile & General Insurance Co. London, U.K. 

Entrepreneur in several areas of business other than Insurance, he has more than twenty five years experience in the Insurance and Reinsurance Business, in Insurance Companies and Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers. Specialist in Aviation, Property, Marine and Financial Risks Insurance and Reinsurance, among others.

His capabilities towards the development of Reinsurance markets and new products is superb.

His Insurance and Reinsurance business experience includes management positions at La Nacional Compañía de Seguros S.A, Financiera Sudamericana S.A., Underwriting Manager of Sudamèrica de Seguros S.A., subsidiary of Sulamerica Group Brazil, OLSA RE, JEF Insurance Brokers, among others.

Mrs. Hoyos was born in 1970. Her academic studies include Management and Finance degree in Universidad del Pacífico - Perú (1997), Top Business School. Various Insurance Courses and Seminars both in the technical as in the Financial areas.  

She worked as Assistant Manager in the Trading Office of Banco del Comercio and Assistant Marketing Manager at Nabisco Peru. In 1995 she joined OLSA RE and is now the Chief Administrative and Financial Manager and Legal Representative of the company. Financial and Legal expert, she has been an asset to the development of the OLSA RE International network.

Mrs. Hoyos is also in charge of the development and control of the OLSA RE network of international associated companies and is the supervisor of the proper and legal activities of all of said companies. She is also responsible for the achievement of corporate profits and objectives.

Born in 1973. Graduate estudies of Insurance in the Instituto Superior Tecnológico en Seguros en Lima-Perú (1995) and in the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (1997). Her academic experience includes many seminars, insurance and reinsurance conventions and Reinsurance Training in London (2002) attending various courses and practices in several U. K. Reinsurance and Insurance Brokers.

Ms. Escobar joined OLSA RE in 1993, giving support to the Technical and Commercial Area of the company and since 1999 she became a company key element as the Business Manager of the Company, in charge of the technical development, markets, products and underwriting for the OLSA RE group of companies.

She is actively in charge of the excellence in the day to day company service that OLSA as a group provides to their clients and markets. 

Born in 1968, Graduated from the Technological Insurance Institute, Lima – Peru and from the AG Insurance School of Chile. His academic experience includes several seminars and insurance courses.  He started working in insurance 21 years ago as Accounts Executive in Inti Insurance Brokers, in Rehder & Associates, Mariategui Heath and in Willis Insurance Brokers.   His experience in the Government area includes the one of Insurance Coordinator in the Capitalization Unit and Agricultural Insurance in the Ministry of Agriculture.

He join OLSA RE in February 2009, being his principal responsibility Generating Businesses for OLSA RE, for which he keeps daily contact with the insurance companies.

Mrs. Canaval was born in 1960. Her academic studies include various Insurance Courses and Seminars both in the technical insurance and reinsurance area. 

She worked as Assistant to the Chairman of Estudio East Abogados, one of the most prestigious law offices in Peru and as Assistant to the Chief of the Mining Department of Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru. 

In 1997 she joined OLSA RE giving support to the Technical, Commercial and Financial Area of the company and is now an Accounts Manager. She is a fluid English speaker, who deals with our local and foreign contacts on a day to day basis.

Born in Lima, Perú in 1950, Mrs. Barreto studied Management Secretarial and elemental Administrative courses, then she participated in several seminars of Insurance, Reinsurance and Systems.

Befores joining OLSA RE in 1987 as Assistant to the General Management, she worked during 18 years as Assistant to the Commercial Management in Centromin Peru. During the 17 years she works in OLSA, she has actively participated in almost all the areas of the company such as the Business Management and Administration Division. She has also participated in the organization of several reinsurance seminars prepared and given by OLSA RE.
